Last weekend, we lit up London’s streets with colour, music, and the traditional TWR vibes as we rolled out for our Annual Rep Your Flag Ride. Now in its third year, this event is the brainchild of our dynamic duo, Dean and Jade, who somehow manage to pull off the perfect balance of organisation and chaos (the good kind!) every single time.

The ride always lands on Carnival weekend—perfect timing to rep our roots, show off our flags, and warm up for the Notting Hill madness the next day. London Bridge was our launch pad, and from there, we weaved through the city, stopping at iconic landmarks like The Monument and Trafalgar Square, and even riding part of the Carnival route itself. Think of it as a sightseeing tour—but with booming tunes, flags flying, and a rolling party on two wheels.

And of course, no TWR ride is complete without a little friendly competition. At Battersea Park, we crowned this year’s Best Dressed champions. First place went to Veronica, who repped Ecuador from head to toe with so much effort and flair that the judges had no choice but to hand her the top spot. Coming in strong at second place was Darren Ashley, who oozed Jamaican swagger and stole the show with his style

Massive respect goes to Dean and Jade for making sure everything ran smoothly—from planning the route to handing out the well-earned prizes. Although let’s be honest… Dean, we all agree: next year, more rum punch. Watching Darren walk away with the only bottle was painful for the rest of us. If you’ve ever tasted Dean’s punch, you’ll know why—it’s Carnival-level magic in a cup.
