Our tours are eco-conscious and led by the inspiring Robert Obodai Nicholas Torto, a distinguished civil engineer, 6ft 5” penny farthing-riding Rastafarian, and one of the architects behind some of London’s most important cycling infrastructure. Robert has played a pivotal role in implementing ‘School Streets’ across Britain, tackling air pollution and road safety around schools. As an author of Black British history books for children, he documents the rich contributions of both historic and contemporary figures of African and Caribbean heritage to British culture and progress.

If you haven’t got a bike you can easily hire one to join the ride as the meeting place is conveniently located by a Boris Bike hub. This can also give you the option and freedom of being able to disembark the tour in the city at the British Museum, which is the last stop before we return to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, just in case you feel like staying in town to do some shopping or maybe grabbing a bite to eat.
