Last year, a group of TWR riders made the journey to York to visit one of our own, who treated us to an unforgettable tour of the Yorkshire countryside. Our ride took us along historic Viking trails, across the iconic Stamford Bridge, and up some truly momentous climbs. The combination of stunning scenery, rich history, and challenging terrain made it a highlight of our cycling calendar.
TWR Visits York: Exploring the Yorkshire Countryside
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be returning to York on September 13th, 2025, for another adventure. Planning is already underway to make this year’s trip even better. Given the distance, some TWR members will be staying overnight in York, while others are considering an early train up on the morning of the ride. We’re working out the logistics to ensure everyone has a smooth journey and a fantastic experience. This year’s ride promises more of the breathtaking Yorkshire landscapes, historic landmarks, and camaraderie that made last year so memorable. We’ll be updating this page with the latest travel details, route maps, and all the fun we have planned for our York visit in September.
